ICA reviewing men's PR statuses
In response to Mothership's queries, an Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) spokesperson said that Singapore permanent residents who have been convicted of an offence will have their permanent residence (PR) status reviewed by ICA.
The spokesperson added that the authority is unable to share further details at this juncture, citing that the review of Fang's and Panfilov’s PR statuses "is ongoing".
Fang is expected to begin serving his jail term on Jun. 16, while Panfilov will be appealing against his conviction and sentence.
