New face
Apart from Cai, all the new faces have previously been spotted walking the ground in various constituencies.
A former Straits Times Singaporean of the Year, Cai has founded and co-founded various social initiatives over the past 10 years, such as backalleybarbers, which offers free haircuts to migrant workers.
On the same day that the video went out, Cai posted a short but telling message on Facebook, showing himself dressed in a white shirt bearing the PAP logo:
"Responding to PM Lawrence Wong's call for young people to serve.
Here I am, Singapore."
It is unclear which constituency he will stand in.
