Pickles or nah? McDonald's S'pore asks Double Cheeseburger fans to vote if pickles should stay or go.
Step aside, GE.
Do you prefer your double cheeseburger with pickles, or without?
McDonald's Singapore asked diners to cast their vote for or against the controversial ingredient in an Apr. 10 Instagram post.
"Should pickles stay in our double cheeseburger?" it asked.
"Let’s beef it out once & for all!"
Voting is open till Apr. 17, 11:59pm.
If you wish to cast your vote, the Instagram post has a poll.
Fans are also encouraged to leave a comment on the post with the appropriate hashtag, #TeamPickle or #TeamNoPickle.
Is it really possible?
It's not clear if McDonald's is serious about its proposition.
But it did come up with a reel on Apr. 9, showing the burger in two variations: with and without pickles.
There's a rumour that pickles "may or may not be removed from the double cheeseburger", it was captioned.
As of roughly two hours into the voting period, the poll has garnered over 2,200 votes.
For now, the pro-pickle gang appears to have a slight advantage.
It's still early days, though.
