Ng Chee Meng pauses rally speech to call for medic after woman collapses
It happened just as Ng was about to touch on his loss in GE2020.

During the People's Action Party (PAP) rally at Jalan Kayu SMC, PAP candidate and National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) secretary-general Ng Chee Meng paused his rally speech when he noticed a crowd member required medical attention.
As Ng was about to touch on his loss in the 2020 General Election, a member of the audience collapsed.
Upon hearing calls for a medic from the crowd, Ng paused his speech.
He then instructed the medical team to attend to the woman, and told the audience to give them some air.
Ng did not continue his speech immediately after but stood waiting at the podium as the medical team headed into the crowd to assess the woman.
He checked that the woman had a doctor attending to them before asking if they were okay.
Ng only resumed his speech once he ascertained that the woman was taken care of and was escorted away.
"Please take care of her," he added.
The whole incident lasted about three minutes, following which Ng picked up where he left off.
