The anchor minister for West Coast Group Representative Constituency (GRC), Desmond Lee, announced that NTUC's Natasha Choy will join his team.
According to The Straits Times (ST), Lee said Choy had joined the team "recently" and was "coming here to learn about the community, and initiatives that we've rolled out.".
Choy attended the launch of a pop-up communal facility at Jalan Mas Kuning Playground in West Coast on Apr. 2 with Lee and Minister for Health, Ong Ye Kung.
"We hope she will contribute actively to active ageing, youth engagement, community bonding, as well as to ensure that we improve the infrastructure, not just in West Coast, but in other parts of our districts as well," Lee added.
Spotted around town
Choy, a trade unionist and the director of NTUC's youth development, has been spotted around the West Coast area for the past couple of months.
Choy was pictured in Feb. with Member of Parliament for West Coast GRC Foo Mee Har at a Pongal celebration at Gek Poh Ville Community Club.
Since then, she has been photographed at numerous West Coast GRC events with other team members.

The recent Electoral Boundaries Review Committee report recommended that some polling districts be carved into a new Jurong Central SMC, and that other estates in Jurong West and Taman Jurong be moved into the adjacent West Coast GRC, creating the new West Coast-Jurong West GRC.
