Motorcyclist, 71, dies after collision along CTE, taxi driver, 67, arrested for careless driving
The motorcycle was stuck under the taxi’s front bumper.

A 71-year-old male motorcyclist died after a collision with a taxi along Central Expressway (CTE) towards Seletar Expressway (SLE) near Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 exit on Apr. 29.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at about 4:05am and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 67-year-old male taxi driver was arrested for careless driving without reasonable consideration causing death.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Video circulating online
Dashcam footage uploaded online showed a blue tent on the left-most lane of the road and a yellow taxi nearby.
A motorcycle could be seen stuck under the taxi’s bonnet.
