Chinese man, 48, breaks into lover's house & kills her & her husband, currently on the run

A 48-year-old man broke into the house of his lover and killed her and her husband in the early morning of Apr. 9 at Xiushui County, located near the Hunan and Hubei provinces in China.

Their daughter, who is a senior in high school, reportedly suffered severe injuries from the attack.

The man, Lu Zuojian, is currently on the run.

Chinese news outlets reported that the lover's husband worked in Guangdong and had just recently returned home to Xiushui.

Beijing News and Sinchew Daily reported that there was another girl who was at the house at the time of the murder, and that she managed to escape in time.

Surveillance footage showed Lu fleeing on a motorcycle to the border between Xiushui County, Hunan, and Hubei.

He is suspected of having fled to another province.

The police are still searching for Lu's whereabouts.
