Liverpool FC are the champions of England once again.
Five years after their last triumph in 2020, the Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield to clinch their 20th league title.
Tottenham struck first through a goal from a corner by former Liverpool player Dominic Solanke, now playing for Spurs.
However, goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis MacAllister, Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah put them ahead, before Destiny Udogie scored an own goal to end the match with five goals to one.
The win means that Liverpool have sealed the English Premier League with four games left in the season to play.
They have now equalled the record of their fierce rivals, Manchester United, who have also won 20 English league titles.
As the 2020 title win took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, with crowd restrictions, this will be the first opportunity for Liverpool fans in the UK to gather and celebrate since 1990, a period of 35 years.
A bus parade with the team is expected to take place after the end of the season, with tens of thousands of fans expected to attend.
