Grab increases bond-free scholarship to S$15,000 to support its partners’ children
All you need to do is apply through an online form.

Behind every Grab ride or delivery is a person chasing dreams — not just their own, but also their children’s too.
Since 2018, the delivery and ride-hailing company has been supporting their driver- and delivery-partners by awarding scholarships to their children – the Emerald Circle Scholarship.
As part of their suite of Grab Partner Benefits, the Emerald Circle Scholarship is awarded to children of Grab partners who are pursuing higher education, helping them reach for their dreams, stress-free.
Yes, this means all scholarship recipients have no post-graduation obligations to Grab.
Bond-free scholarship, with an increased amount in 2025
Previously valued at up to S$10,000 each, Grab increased the scholarship amount to S$15,000 in 2025. And yes, it’s still bond-free.
Alvin Wee, Head of Transport and Country Operations, Grab Singapore, shared more about the motivation behind setting up the Emerald Circle Scholarship:
"Behind every scholarship recipient is a family that has worked hard and made countless sacrifices. Through the Grab Emerald Circle Scholarship Programme, we want not only to recognise our driver-partners’ dedication, but also to invest in our next generation.
By increasing the scholarship amount from S$10,000 to S$15,000 this year, we're further extending our support to our partners and their families — and continue building a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.”
More than 60 students have benefitted since the launch of this scholarship, pursuing degrees in fields like psychology, computer science, medicine and more.
The company also introduced bursaries in 2023 for primary to pre-university students, with amounts ranging from S$150 to S$400.
