11 rallies to be held on the last day of campaigning for GE2025

With May 1 being the last day of campaigning for the 2025 General Election, there will be 11 political rallies across the island before Cooling Off Day.

The rallies will take place at night, between 7pm and 10pm.

Here are the details of the rallies:

• Anderson Serangoon Junior College: Workers' Party (Hougang SMC)
• Home of Athletics: Independent Candidate (Mountbatten SMC)
• Jurong West Stadium: Progress Singapore Party (Pioneer SMC)
• St. Andrew's Junior College: People's Action Party (Potong Pasir SMC)
• Evergreen Primary School: Singapore Democratic Party (Sembawang SMC)
• Serangoon Stadium: People's Action Party (Aljunied GRC)
• Field along Yishun Central, next to Futsal Arena @ Yishun: Red Dot United (Nee Soon GRC)
• Yusof Ishak Secondary School: People's Action Party (Punggol GRC)
• North Vista Secondary School: People's Action Party (Sengkang GRC)
• Field beside Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange: People's Power Party (Tampines GRC)
• Temasek Junior College: People's Action Party (Tampines GRC)

Cooling Off Day

The eve of Polling Day is known as Cooling Off Day.

On May 2, election campaigning is prohibited for 24 hours.

This one-day "campaign silence period" is meant to give voters time to "reflect rationally on issues raised during the election before going to the polls."
