M'sian student applauded for carrying injured friend upstairs to visit library

They say you find out who your true friends are when you go through a challenging time.

Such is the case when a student in Malaysia helped to carry his injured friend up a flight of stairs to get to the library located on the upper floor.

The act of kindness, which was captured on video and uploaded to their school's TikTok page, shows a student in a white shirt with a cast on his left foot standing at the bottom of the stairs.

His friend in a black shirt did not hesitate to carry him up, smiling as he carried the white-shirt student up the stairs.

"A true friend is like a star. We might not always see it, but it's always there," the video caption wrote.

"May this friendship last"

Many commenters were touched after watching the video, wishing for the students' friendship to last a long time.

"This student is lucky to have such a good friend. May the friendship between you two last forever," one commenter wrote.

The school praised the students, saying that this "commendable trait" should be set as an example for others.
