Latin American street food festival happening at Dempsey Hill from Mar. 21 - 23

Latin American street food and music festival, Latinada, will be happening at Canchita in Dempsey Hill.
The festival will take place from Mar. 21 to 23, from 12pm to 12am.
South American food galore
The festival showcases dishes from countries like Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela.
Traditional Latin American and Mexican dishes available include:
- Ceviches (Marinated raw fish)
- Tostadas (Fried tortilla topped with ingredients)
- Tacos
- Chicharrones (deep-fried pork skin or pork belly)
- Arepas (flatbread stuffed with meat filling)
- Pasteles (deep-fried pastry with stuffing)
- Tres leches (sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk)
These dishes will be whipped up by 14 chefs, including some who hail from South America.
Music performances and DJs
For those ready to party the weekend away, there will be 10 DJs slated to perform at the festival.
There will also be live music bands along with Colombian and Mexican traditional dance performances.

Tickets cost S$35 per person, with 500 tickets are available each day.
Tickets come with a S$20 redeemable cash voucher.
Since 2018
According to Latinada, the festival is the largest of its kind in Singapore and has been held annually since 2018.
It was founded by Mexican chef Tamara Chavez and her Peruvian husband chef Daniel Chavez.
