Coffee shop chain operator Kimly bought a coffee shop in Serangoon Central for S$13.15 million on Mar. 11, 2025, The Edge Singapore reported.

The coffee shop is located at Block 204 Serangoon Central.

It has a strata floor area of 358-sqm, comprising the coffee shop itself and a 3-room flat on its second level.

There are 60 years left on the property's lease, which commenced in October 1994.

Reports first came out of Kimly's intention to buy the coffee shop, owned by Lee Quan Enterprises, back in June 2024.

Kimly had then said it expects to "strengthen its presence in the market by opening more food stalls under its food retail division", which is complemented by its central kitchen.

Kimly added that it would "continue to explore opportunities to acquire and, or operate more strategically-located coffee shops in mature estates with established footfalls."

Kimly Group, founded in 1990, currently has 85 outlets and drinks stalls across food courts, coffee shops, and industrial canteens, according to its website.
