United States President Donald Trump will travel to the Philippines in November to attend the 49th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Manila.
The summit will be from Nov. 16 to 18.
Malacañang confirmed Trump’s planned visit on Oct. 14, Manila Bulletin reported.
Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro confirmed the visit at a Palace briefing, but did not elaborate on Trump’s schedule or any possible agreements.

He will next travel to Shenzhen, China, for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit from Nov. 17 to 19.
Trump’s previous trip to the Philippines was in 2017, when he attended the ASEAN Summit in Manila during his first term.
