NSF dies after being found unconscious at foot of building at Pulau Tekong
He arrived at Singapore General Hospital at 2:05pm and was pronounced dead at 2:27pm.

A full-time national serviceman (NSF) was found unconscious at the foot of a building at Basic Military Training School 3 at about 1:22pm on Oct. 8, 2026, the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) said on Oct. 8 in a statement on social media.
The serviceman was immediately conveyed to Pulau Tekong Medical Centre for emergency treatment, and subsequently evacuated via helicopter to Singapore General Hospital.
He arrived at Singapore General Hospital at 2:05pm and was pronounced dead at 2:27pm.
The serviceman was not involved in training at the time of the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
The statement added: "The Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces extend their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. The SAF is assisting the family in their time of grief."
