M'sian mother mistakenly drops daughter off at school amid haze school closure, only child there that day

As the haze worsens in Malaysia, all schools under the Ministry of Education in Negeri Sembilan are temporarily closing their gates.

Students and teachers have been asked to stay home for lessons and work.

One student’s mother didn’t see a school closure notice in the school group chat and drove her child to school. She dropped her child off and left, and the child walked into the school alone, as reported by China Press.

Li Kaixiang, the principal, returned to school for work and was shocked to find that a parent had dropped their child off.

The principal stayed with the child to wait for their parents to come and pick him up.
