Xinmin Secondary School students & staff evacuated after bomb threat: ST

Students and staff of Xinmin Secondary School in Hougang were evacuated on Aug. 13 morning following a bomb threat, according to The Straits Times.

The school reportedly said in a message to parents and guardians that it was alerted to the threat and immediately activated its evacuation procedures at 8:28am.

The police have conducted a "thorough search" of the premises, and no suspicious items were found, it said.

All students and staff were accounted for, it added.

Students have since returned to their classrooms, and the regular timetable has resumed.
