A 57-year-old man suspected his 17-year-old daughter of using Kpods.

As he questioned her, he kicked and choked her.

His son, 17, then accused him of being "not a good father", and the man punched and kicked him.

The twins suffered injuries due to his actions.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the man faced eight charges, including causing intentional hurt and affray.

There is a gag order on the man's identity to protect his children's identities.

He pleaded guilty to four charges, with the remaining charges to be taken into consideration during sentencing.

According to Shin Min, the man had divorced his wife, but continued to live in the same apartment to care for their children.

The man was on sick leave and resting at home on Jan. 13.

He found his daughter in her room holding what appeared to be a Kpod vape.

The man woke her up by kicking her legs forcefully, and then snatched the pod from her hand.

The man suspected that his daughter had fallen in with bad company.

They pushed each other, and the daughter stormed off.

The man followed his daughter to the the elevator, and pushed her, causing her to fall backward.

He then grabbed her by the neck.

After the daughter broke free, the man punched her.

The daughter, fearing for her safety, went to a friend's house for the night.

Neighbours who heard the argument and fight called the police.

After his daughter left, the man returned to his room, drank two glasses of alcohol, and sent voice messages scolding his daughter.

The son, who was in the house, asked his father to quieten down.

The two then began shouting at each other.

Enraged by his son saying that he was "not a good father", the man punched his son in the face, causing his glasses to fall off.

The man then repeatedly punched and kicked his son in the face, and the two fought all the way from the living room to the elevator.

The two continued their fight in the elevator area.

The man's ex-wife eventually intervened and pulled the man back inside, which stopped the conflict.

Police arrived at the scene later that evening.

The son, who was lying in the hallway, was conveyed to the hospital.

He was diagnosed with bruises on his face and right ankle, as well as a sprained neck, and was given three days of sick leave.

The daughter later developed bruises on her left leg and swelling at the back of her head.

Police arrested the man that day, and the next day his family immediately applied for an emergency protection order.

According to Shin Min, the man's lawyer said his anger came about from seeing his daughter using Kpod and him not wanting to see her follow in his footsteps.

As for the violence against his son, it was due to his son's provocative remarks that angered him, and he did not intend to harm his children.

The case was adjourned to Oct. 14 for sentencing.

The judge reminded the defendant not to break the law during this period and expressed hope that he would try to resolve the family issues amicably.
