Seletar West Link car & motorcycle traffic incident: Man, 25, dead, woman, 57, arrested

A 25-year-old man has died after a traffic incident at Seletar West Link in the evening of Aug. 18.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force confirmed that they had been alerted to an incident involving a car and a motorcycle at around 6:45pm.

The motorcyclist was taken unconscious to hospital, where he later died.

A 57-year old female car driver was arrested on suspicion of careless driving causing death and is assisting with police investigations.

Received CPR and AED

Photos of the incident submitted by a Mothership reader showed a man providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and applying an AED to the victim.

The latter was visibly unconscious and covered in blood.

The Straits Times also reported that paramedics were observed at the scene, while passers-by directed traffic away from the two outer lines.
