Crocodile 'sighting' at Pandan Reservoir that led to suspension of activities is fake, police report lodged

A crocodile sighting at Pandan Reservoir that led to the suspension of water activities has turned out to be fake.
The update was provided by PUB on its Facebook on Aug. 21.
In an earlier joint statement by PUB and the National Parks Board (NParks), the Singapore Rowing Association and Singapore Canoe Federation were informed to suspend all activities in the reservoir.
PUB added that in light of the false information provided, it had ceased search operations and made a police report.
