Been using Grab? You might have GrabCoins to redeem goodies you don't know about.
Don’t leave your expiring coins lying on the table.

Full disclosure: I have been using Grab for years, mostly for rides and food deliveries, and I had no idea I could redeem my GrabCoins for discounts off those very same orders.
I always assumed they were just some kind of loyalty points that built up in the background.
Turns out I have been missing out.
If you use Grab regularly, chances are you have been quietly racking up GrabCoins with every ride, delivery, or order, without giving much thought to what they can actually get you.
That balance sitting in your app could be worth more than you think.
What are GrabCoins?
GrabCoins are earned when you use Grab's services, and they can be redeemed for a range of rewards through the GrabCoins catalogue in the app.
The rewards available depend on your current GrabCoins balance, so remember to check your balance from time to time and redeem what you can before your GrabCoins expire, rather than letting them sit unused.
As a reminder: Grab coins expire in six months from the month you earn them.
What you can redeem, from small to big balances
Whether you have a small stash of GrabCoins or a large one, there’s likely something in the catalogue for you.
For users with a smaller balance, there are options like S$1 off a GrabFood order, GrabMart order, Transport ride, or GrabExpress delivery, each going for 500 coins.

If you have built up a slightly bigger balance, options in the catalogue include S$20 off a GrabFood or GrabMart order, or S$20 off a Transport ride, each for 10,000 coins. Frequent flyers might prefer converting their coins, with 1,000 KrisFlyer miles going for 13,000 coins.

For users who have accumulated an even larger balance, there are bigger-ticket rewards too, such as S$50 off a GrabFood, GrabMart, or Dine Out voucher for 25,000 coins, or 2,000 KrisFlyer miles for 26,000 coins.

The catalogue also features rewards beyond food and transport vouchers, including Dine Out vouchers and gift cards, so it’s worth browsing through the full list instead of assuming there is nothing worth redeeming.
Make sure you claim your vouchers before they're gone, while stocks last.

More bang for your buck
Every 15th of the month, Grab runs a Flash Sale period during which users can redeem selected vouchers in the GrabCoins catalogue for fewer coins than usual.
