The younger brother of the designated heir of the Singha beer empire recently publicly accused his elder brother of sexually assaulting him for over a decade.
Siranudh “Psi” Scott, a fourth-generation member of the Bhirombhakdi family and a conservation activist, shared his story in a Facebook video on May 9.
The 29-year-old alleged that his elder brother, Sunit "Pi" Scott, abused him from the ages of 12 to 24 in family residences and that he possesses audio recordings related to the allegations, reported Kbizoom.
This comes amid a bitter inheritance dispute after Siranudh's mother sued him over inheritance assets left to him by his late grandfather, Chamnong Bhirombhakdi, the former chairman of the Singha Group, reported The Bangkok Post.
Reply by brother's wife
When the allegations went viral on Thai social media, his elder brother had also recently wed Thai actress Mild Lapassalan in December 2025.
According to Kbizoom, Siranudh had allegedly attempted to contact Lapassalan to warn her about the situation.
However, the couple, who had dated for eight years, proceeded with their wedding, and Siranudh was not allowed to attend the ceremony, reported Kbizoom.
Mild initially stood by her husband, who had issued a categorical denial, posting a lawyer's letter and vowing to defend their family.
However, she said that after hearing the full recorded conversation, her position changed.
In her new Instagram post, she said that her former public support was a misunderstanding due to ignorance.
According to The Star, she said she felt "extremely guilty and regretful for letting things go so far... I am very sad about what Psi must face".
Mild also apologised to fans and to dozens of fellow artists who had liked her initial posts, saying they were unaware of the full story as well.
She also said she will temporarily separate from her husband.
