Taxis operating at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, especially large SUV and van-type taxis, have gradually begun suspending services.
This comes amid a fuel shortage, reported Thai media.
Drivers shared that they have had difficulties obtaining fuel, and expressed fears of running out mid-journey, said the president of the taxi association, Pallop Chayinthu.
Some members of the association have already stopped operating due to the fuel shortage.
Around 5,000 to 6,000 taxis at the airport are members of the association, but only 2,500 are actually in service, according to The Nation.
One way drivers are mitigating the shortage is by working only in the morning, as fuel is reportedly harder to get in the evening.
Others have switched to only accepting short-distance jobs.
