Thai woman, 29, finds herself naked in room with man after motorcycle crash

A Thai woman who was involved in a motorcycle crash later found herself naked in a room with a man who had apparently stopped to help her.

Instead of taking her to the hospital, she believes the man had raped her.

The 29-year-old woman, identified only as Fah, then reported the case to Khukot Police Station, reported Thaiger.

She later spoke to the media as the police reportedly had not provided updates on the investigation.

Fah contacted Thai social media influencer Tamanan Taengtim, also known as King Saphan Mai, for help to follow up on the case.

Crashed motorcycle

Fah told Tamanan and the media that she and her boyfriend were riding home after attending a friend’s birthday party in the Lat Phrao area of Bangkok at about 3am on Mar. 9.

Her boyfriend was reportedly drunk and crashed their motorcycle in the Pho Kaew area.

Two motorists stopped to help them, including a man later identified as Somsak.

Fah said she could not remember what happened next.

She later found herself waking up naked in Somsak’s room in Soi Lamlukka 27.

As he was in the bathroom at the time, she called a friend and shared her location.

While she was on the phone, Somsak came out, but Fah said she did not dare to ask what had happened.

She then handed her phone to him and asked him to speak to her friend.

He reportedly told the friend that he was about to take Fah to the hospital, prompting Fah to ask him to do so immediately.

However, Fah said Somsak left her at the entrance to Soi Lamlukka 27 and told her to make her own way to the hospital, claiming that his motorcycle had run out of petrol.

Filed police report

Believing she has been raped, Fah went to the hospital for a medical examination.

She also filed a police report but was reportedly told to obtain evidence to support her case.

When she tried to access CCTV footage near Somsak’s home and the crash location, camera owners apparently insisted the recordings could only be provided to police.

Fah’s boyfriend also provided his account, saying he continued riding home after the crash, believing Fah was still on the motorcycle with him.

He later crashed again and was taken to the hospital, where he then realised Fah was missing.

Man had moved out

The couple also went to Somsak’s room to try to resolve the matter, but he was not there.

A neighbour reportedly told them Somsak had already moved out.

Police also visited the room to collect evidence, but did not find anything, Fah said.

They are expected to summon Somsak for questioning soon.
