Man, 42, allegedly molests man, 41, at Tampines gym, among 11 men to be charged for outrage of modesty
They will be charged in court on Mar. 10 and 11.
A 42-year-old man will be charged in court for allegedly molesting another man, 41, at a gym in Tampines.
He is among 11 men, aged between 20 and 73, who will be charged on Mar. 10 and 11 for their alleged involvement in molestation cases.
In a press release on Mar. 9, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they had allegedly committed the offences from June 2025 to January 2026.
Molestation cases across several public locations
According to SPF, all incidents occurred across various public locations including restaurants, public transport, shopping areas, and recreational spaces.
Other cases include a 30-year-old man who allegedly molested two 15-year-old girls at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade on Jan. 1, 2026.
He was arrested the following day and will face two counts of outrage of modesty.
Details of other cases are as follows:
• On Dec. 27, 2025, a 36-year-old man allegedly molested a 26-year-old and a 20-year-old woman at a restaurant on Pekin Street and was arrested on the spot.
• A 53-year-old man allegedly molested a 22-year-old woman at People's Park Complex on Dec. 21, 2025, and a 44-year-old man allegedly molested a 49-year-old woman at Teban Gardens Road on Dec. 20, 2025 with CCTV evidence helping identify the suspect.
• Additional incidents involved molestation at Suntec City, public buses, restaurants along Tanjong Pagar Road, Orchard Gateway, residential units, and offices along Gul Avenue. One case at Orchard Gateway was classified as aggravated outrage of modesty.
Those found guilty of outrage of modesty may face up to three years' jail, fined, caned, or a combination of these.
Those found guilty of aggravated outrage of modesty may face between two and 10 years jail, and caned.
