Pedestrian, 23, seen lying on Orchard Road following accident with motorcycle

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital on Feb. 11 after he was involved in an accident with a motorcycle at Orchard Road in the direction of Brash Basah Road.

Footage of the accident's aftermath was uploaded to Facebook.

It showed a man lying on the ground, as well as a motorcycle lying on its side on the road.

Passers-by were also seen attending to the man lying on the ground.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 7:55pm.

The pedestrian was conveyed to the hospital in a conscious state.

A 27-vear-old male motorcyclist sustained injuries in the accident, but refused to be sent to the hospital.

The motorcyclist is assisting with investigations which are ongoing, the police added.
