Man, 18, dies on the spot in 8-motorcycle accident in M'sia, brain matter left on road
He hit the metal guardrail separating the car lane and the motorcycle lane.
An 18-year-old man in Malaysia died on the spot on Jan. 25, 2026 after getting into a serious traffic accident involving eight motorcycles.
Images by Guang Ming Daily showed that he suffered severe head injuries.
Skull and brain matter apparently belonging to the motorcyclist were found strewn on the road.
The accident occurred on a highway, Sin Chew Daily reported, adding that seven other motorcyclists were sent to the hopsital for treatment after suffering injuries of varying degrees to their hands, feet and other parts of their bodies.

The accident occurred when two motorcycles apparently collided before losing control and skidding, a Jan. 25 police statement said.

The chief added that according to preliminary police investigations, this then triggered a mass collision involving other motorcycles.
The male motorcyclist reportedly fell off his motorcycle to the left side of the road and crashed into the metal guardrail separating the car lane and the motorcycle lane, the police said.
Died
The collision "resulted in severe head and body injuries that killed him on the spot", the police added.
Following the accident, the police received a report at around 3:30am on Jan. 25.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the deceased's body was then sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy.
Investigations
Malaysia police are investigating the accident as one causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
There are claims that the motorcyclists were allegedly involved in illegal racing, Sin Chew Daily reported, adding that the claim is still pending police investigation.
Malaysia police reminded the public, especially young people, to always abide by traffic rules to avoid endangering their lives and the lives of others.
Parents are also urged to pay closer attention to and supervise their children's daily activities to prevent them from participating in dangerous activities.
Members of the public who witnessed the incident are urged to assist with the investigations.
