S'pore man forces open exit barrier for car to pass through at Parklane Shopping Mall

A Singapore man forced open the exit barrier for a car to pass through at Parklane Shopping Mall, at around 9:32pm on Jan. 19, 2026.

Based on an SG Road Vigilante video, a Mercedes was waiting at an exit gantry while the man forced the exit barrier upwards.

After the car drove through the exit gantry, the man then walked to the car and opened the front passenger door, appearing to board the car.

It is not known why the man was forcing open the exit barrier and whether other car drivers or passengers had to do the same.
