There were multiple footprints left at the scene.
A puddle of white paint left at a carpark in Yishun caused an elderly woman to slip and fall, resulting in head injuries that sent her to the hospital.
Police were called to the scene.
What happened
The incident occurred at about 1pm on Jan. 18, at Block 701 Yishun Avenue 5, according to Shin Min Daily News.
Another resident had initially found the puddle of paint, alongside paint bucket lids, left between two parking lots at the open air carpark below the block.
There were reportedly also paint footprints left behind at the scene.
He later chanced upon an elderly woman who had slipped and fallen on the paint, landing on her back and hitting her head on the ground.
Patches of white paint were visible on her hair, clothes and body.
An ambulance was called by the woman's family members, who had been walking behind her when the incident occurred.
Upon paramedics and police officers' arrival, SCDF personnel found a lump protruding from the back of the woman's head, resulting in her being sent to the hospital for further examination.
Thick paint
According to Shin Min, the spilt paint at the carpark was a few centimetres deep and still wet, and there were multiple white footprints nearby.
Following the incident, a trash bin was also used to cordon off the paint area by members of the public to warn passersby.
