Single-use bags available onboard
Responding to queries from Mothership, a spokesperson for CQ@Clarke Quay shared that amenities such as single-use bags will be available on the shuttles for passengers’ use as needed.
"Passenger comfort remains a priority," the spokesperson commented.
Explaining the decision to launch the shuttle service, the spokesperson said, "We have received feedback that people sometimes don’t feel like coming out because of the inconvenience and cost of getting home after."
As such, CQ@Clarke Quay has been looking at ways to improve after-hours transport.
Earlier this year, a Grab promotion was launched and take up for that was strong, the spokesperson shared.
"That gave us confidence to launch the CQ Night Shuttle on Dec. 5, and response has been encouraging so far," the spokesperson continued.
CQ@Clarke Quay will monitor usage patterns and add more services as required.
For the current service, the spokesperson shared that it will also run on New Year's Eve this year, and that the 4am shuttles to Tampines and Jurong East are open to tenant staff who are looking to head home after work.
