A 29-year-old driver was taken to the hospital conscious after her car overturned on its roof in East Coast on Dec. 29.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Margate Road and Meyer Road at 10:15am that day, The Straits Times reported.
The car was believed to have skidded, the police added.
The female driver was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is assisting with ongoing investigations.
Aftermath
Photos of the aftermath were shared on Facebook, showing the car badly damaged.
It had turned turtle and was resting on its roof, with its front facing towards the pedestrian path.
Broken parts, which appear to be mostly from the front bumper and window, were scattered all over the ground and pedestrian path.
Two of the car doors were also flung open.
