Mofusand frenzy across 17 malls in S’pore for the 1st time till Dec. 31, 2025

2025 seemed to fly past in a blur — and by October, CQ @ Clarke Quay was already hinting at the holidays.

Case in point: a mysterious giant cat sighting that stopped me in my tracks.

Eight-metre-tall Donut Meow surprise appearance

Turns out, it wasn’t just a quirky display — it’s part of CapitaLand’s collaboration with Mofusand, the beloved charming cats from Japan. The eight-metre-tall whiskered friend was accompanied by a clowder of 25 quirky cats!

From now till Dec. 31, Mofusand enthusiasts and shoppers can look forward to a purr-fectly immersive festive takeover and the first, largest Mofusand-themed Christmas showcase in Southeast Asia at CapitaLand malls.

Expect playful photo spots, adorable interactive AR filters, exclusive pop-up store merchandise, and even meet-and-greet sessions with the fan-favourite mascot Shark Mofusand.

A Mofusand Christmas like no other

This year, 17 CapitaLand malls and multiple workspace properties across Singapore will be transformed into magical wonderlands inspired by three irresistibly cute Mofusand themes — Board Shark, Fruit Meow, and Coffee & Donuts.

Each theme brings its own unique charm across various spots.

Fruit Meow brings sun-kissed tropical vibes and adorably cute Mofusand cats to Aperia Mall, Bugis+, Lot One, Sengkang Grand Mall, and Tampines Mall.

My favourite theme from the Mofusand collection is the Board Shark, so it’s no surprise that I’m looking forward to ringing in some surfside holiday cheer.

Catch these cuties in a seaside-inspired playground at Bedok Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza, CQ @ Clarke Quay, IMM, and Kallang Wave Mall.

Lastly, spot Mofusand cats snuggled in giant donuts, strike a pose beside giant pink coffee cups, and explore charming props like a festive telephone booth.

This picture-purrfect zone is at Funan, Junction 8, Plaza Singapura, SingPost Centre, and Westgate.

For the ultimate festive experience, Bugis Junction will become a full-fledged Mofusand experience, the only place where all three whimsical themes come together under one roof.

Guess I’ll have to drag my friends along for a Mofusand-sighting session (and hope I don’t forget my trusty camera).

Track down the eight-metre giant Mofusand

While the clowder of 25 playful cats are roaming at various CapitaLand malls, the supersized eight-metre-tall Donut Meow inflatable will be making a grand return at Capital Tower and Plaza Singapura.

Hoping for a more festive photo op? Look out for the brand-new Mofusand Christmas Tree inflatable at Raffles City.

Meet Mofusand IRL

Oh, what I would give to meet the Shark Mofusand costume character in the flesh fur.
