Malaysia property firm Sunway Property has launched its new Small Office Home Office (SoHo) apartments in Johor Bahru, attracting 30 per cent of Singaporean buyers.
According to The Edge Singapore, the property's buyers currently also include 70 per cent of Malaysians, 60 per cent of whom are working in Singapore.

The 46-storey freehold development features one- to three-bedroom units priced from RM400,000 (S$123,134).
70 per cent of the apartments were sold for personal use, with the remaining 30 per cent for investment purposes.
The newly-launched apartments are conveniently located just 3km away from the upcoming Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.
Scheduled to open in late 2026, the RTS will connect the Bukit Chagar station in Johor Bahru to the Woodlands MRT station in Singapore within six minutes.
Woodlands Checkpoint is situated 4km away.
Other amenities in the vicinity include shopping malls such as City Square, Komtar JBCC, Plaza Pelangi and KSL City Mall, as well as the Sultanah Aminah Hospital and several local schools.

The development also benefits from the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), launched in early 2025 to boost trade and investment between the two countries.
Johor Bahru's appeal is "real": Sunway Property CEO
Sunway Property chief executive officer (Southern Region) Gerard Soosay said that homebuyers in Johor Bahru are "discerning" and "think long term".
"Johor Bahru’s appeal is real, but expectations are higher: communities must be safe, connected, and adaptable to cross-border lifestyles," Soosay added, as quoted by The Edge Malaysia.
The Sunway Majestic sales gallery has attracted more than 100 groups of visitors daily since its opening.
