Skye at Holland condo: Prospective buyers submit 2,151 cheques as expressions of interest for 666 units
About 3.2 times oversubscribed.
An upcoming condominium in Holland Village, Skye at Holland, has attracted overwhelming demand, EdgeProp Singapore reported.
A total of 2,151 cheques were submitted by prospective buyers as expressions of interest for a total of 666 units on offer.
The tally of cheques on Oct. 8 showed that the development was about 3.2 times oversubscribed, following its preview on Sep. 26.
The official launch is slated for Oct. 11.
Reason for high demand
This is the first major private residential launch in Holland Village in prime district 10 since 2019.
It is the tallest residential project in Holland Village, with two 40-storey towers.
UOL Group, Singapore Land Group, CapitaLand Development and Kheng Leong Co are the consortium behind the project.
The site was secured with a S$805.39 million bid at a government land sales tender in May 2024.
Over 8,000 visitors showed up for the the project’s debut weekend, EdgeProp reported.
Prices
Two-bedroom units
A total of 370 two-bedroom units, from 581 sq ft to 743 sq ft, make up 56 per cent of the total apartments.
They are priced from S$1.51 million (S$2,598 psf).
Three-bedroom units
A total of 148 three-bedroom units, from 915 sq ft and 1,076 sq ft, make up 22 per cent of the project.
They start from S$2.4 million ($2,623 psf).
Last project with such high demand
The last time a project recorded such overwhelming demand was the launch of Emerald of Katong in November 2024.
Located in district 15 within the Rest of Central Region (RCR), the 846-unit project received 3,629 expressions of interest, which was 4.3 times oversubscribed.
A total of 835 units, or 98.7 per cent, were sold during the launch weekend at an average price of S$2,621 psf.
