A man in Malaysia allegedly killed his estranged wife and her lover in Taman Nona, Kedah.
According to Malaysian media reports, the 29-year-old repeatedly slashed and stabbed his 28-year-old estranged wife about 20 times with a knife.
He also killed her 30-year-old lover, inflicting multiple slash and stab wounds over the body, with a fatal blow to the neck.
The wife's body was found in car, while the body of her alleged lover was found lying face down on the road nearby.
According to the Kedah deputy police chief, the motive was "jealousy".
He also revealed that the suspect had set up the scene to lure the victims in.
The man had believed his wife and her lover were in an intimate relationship.
He later fled to his hometown but was arrested.
He had previously tried to ram the 30-year-old man with a car in August. He was arrested but was released on bail.
The man had two sons with his wife, aged between two and four, who are now under the care of the suspect's parents.
It was previously reported that the woman and the suspect separated a year ago.
