A total of 13 people were conveyed to the hospital following a rear-end chain collision involving two double-decker buses and a car near the junction of Tampines Avenue 2 and Tampines Avenue 7 close to Temasek Junior College on Tuesday (Aug. 5) at around 10:15am.

When reporters arrived at the scene, the police were already present to redirect traffic, Chinese-language media Shin Min Daily News reported.

Personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were also on-site attending to the injured.

According to Shin Min, it is believed that the bus behind rear-ended the bus in front.

"All I felt was a strong impact at the back. I didn't realise what was happening," Zhuo said.

After figuring out he had been hit, he phoned for help and then waited in his car.

The rear of the car was damaged.
