Stand a chance to win a BYD Sealion 7 when you book a cruise with Royal Caribbean from Aug. 1-Oct. 1
Crossing my fingers.
I don't know about you, but a month into any job and I'm already daydreaming about my next holiday.
Honestly, booking plane tickets, hotels and planning the itinerary seems like a whole other job in itself.
So when I heard that Royal Caribbean is offering a chance to win a BYD Sealion 7 just by booking any of their cruises, be it the Ovation of the Seas cruise sailing out of Singapore, or any Rest of the World cruises, my hands moved faster than my brain.
A relaxing, fully-planned holiday and a shot at a brand new car? That's the kind of multitasking I'm into.
Which brings us to the next question:
Which cruise should you pick?

A short getaway
Want a short yet relaxing getaway? Why not try Royal Caribbean’s Three-Night Penang cruise or their Four-Night Penang and Phuket cruise?
In Penang, you can look forward to walking from the port into the heart of George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
You can also visit the 18th-century Fort Cornwallis, the Taoist Goddess of Mercy Temple (also known as Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple), or hike up Penang Hill for stunning views.
Too much action? Simply head to Batu Ferringhi Beach to relax on the smooth sandy beach, or try your hand at jet-skiing or parasailing.
In Phuket, you can either chill at Phuket’s famous Kata Noi beach, or get up close and personal with some elephants at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary.
While you’re there, why not visit the world-famous James Bond Island? Its iconic name stems from its role as a filming location for the 1974 James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun”.
Perfect for those who want a short getaway without the hassle of planning.
What if I want something a little longer?
If you’re like me and a holiday isn’t counted as a holiday if it’s shorter than five days, you can opt for Royal Caribbean’s Eight-Night Bali Adventure Holiday Cruise instead.
The cruise’s first destination will be Celukan Bawang, which is a port nestled in North Bali.
Spend your time ashore exploring the breathtaking temples, relaxing on the beach and basking in the warm local culture.
The cruise will then make a stopover in Benoa the next day for you to explore beautiful religious architecture such as the Hindu temple Pura Dalem Ning Lan Taman Beji.
The last and final stop of the cruise would be Lombok.
From the white sand beaches of Senggigi and beginner-friendly surf spots, to jungle waterfalls and traditional Sasak villages, there’s something for everyone.
What you can expect on the cruise ship itself
When you board one of Royal Caribbean’s cruises, everything is centralised.
Your transport is not merely your transport, but it’s also your restaurant, itinerary and entertainment venue all in one.
What’s more, if you’re sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas, you’re in for more than just ocean views.

Get your heart racing with their 12-metre tall rock climbing wall, or experience what it’s like to defy gravity with a sky diving session at RipCord by iFLY.
You can also surf on board with their 12-metre long FlowRider surf simulator.

At night, you can enjoy a variety of themed parties, live DJs, karaoke, bars.
One interesting bar you can check out would be the Bionic Bar, where the bartenders are robots.
While they offer the usual classic and signature drinks, you can opt to custom-make your cocktail or mocktail, and watch as one of the robotic bartenders whip up your drink.
