Emirates to host aircraft technician recruitment roadshow in S'pore on Sep. 2 & 3
For both the experienced and aspiring.
International airline Emirates is coming to Singapore as part of its global recruitment drive for aircraft technicians on Sep. 2 and 3, 2025.
Successful candidates will be based in Dubai.
Candidates can interact with the airline’s engineers and managers for insights into the working life, growth opportunities and career progression within Emirates, the airline said in a press release.
The roadshows come on the back of the airline’s global recruitment drive to onboard 17,300 professionals across 350 roles this financial year.
Aircraft technicians
The roles and responsibilities of an aircraft technician include maintaining the airline’s and third-party aircraft under the guidance of licensed aircraft engineers.
An approved apprenticeship in commercial aircraft maintenance or any equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience are required for the role.
However, both experienced and aspiring aircraft technicians are welcome to attend the roadshow, the airline said.
Those interested may register for the roadshow here.
Applicants will be informed on the venue of the roadshow after successful registration.
Salary and benefits
According to Emirates, the role comes with a "competitive tax-free salary" as well as eligibility for profit share, medical insurance, life insurance, education allowance and concessional cargo and discounted flight tickets for self, family and friends.
Employees also have access to the Emirates Platinum card that offers a range of exclusive privileges and discounts to employees and dependents across numerous brand and retail stores, clubs, clinics, hospitality outlets, locally and globally.
Emirates recruiters will also be at the roadshows to share information about the roles, salary, benefits, and life in Dubai.
Work at new "ultra-modern" engineering facility
The airline has invested US$950 million to build a new "ultra-modern engineering facility" at Dubai World Central.
Calling it "one of the largest and most advanced in commercial aviation", the airline said employees will have the opportunity to work and learn at this new facility.
Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore and Brunei, said:
“Singapore is home to some of the most talented aviation professionals in the world, and we are excited to bring our global recruitment drive here, as we mark 35 years of operations in this market. Aircraft technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our fleet.
