The body of a boy was found in the waters off East Coast Park.
Responding to queries from Mothership, a Singapore Police Force (SPF) spokesperson said that the police received a call for assistance at 9:55pm on Aug. 30.
Upon the police’s arrival, a boy was found floating in the sea off East Coast Park.
He was brought ashore by SCDF officers and pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
"Preliminary investigations do not suspect foul play. Police investigations are ongoing," the SPF spokesperson said.
“Out of respect for the family, members of the public are advised not to share any videos or images of the deceased,” the spokesperson added.
