Collision at Joo Koon sends car spinning on its side, 2 drivers sent to hospital

Two people were sent to hospital after a collision at Joo Koon on Jul. 11.

In a video posted on Facebook group SG Road Vigilante, a black minivan could be seen turning into a junction, while a second black car drove straight ahead.

The first car collided with the side of the second car, sending it spinning on its side.

Debris from the collision could subsequently be seen scattered over the road.

Facebook users in the comment section noted that the minivan might have ran the red light.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force confirmed that they were alerted to the accident that took place at the junction of Benoi Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim.

Two male car drivers, aged 41 and 55, were conveyed conscious to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
