Coldplay accidentally outed a couple, who apparently were not supposed to be together, at a show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Tech company CEO Andy Byron and his human resource chief Kristin Cabot were caught in an embrace on the jumbotron.

Both tried to hide but it was too late.

Another woman, who was seen smiling and putting her face on her hand was alleged to be an employee of the company as well by online sources.

Woman on the left

Internet sleuths had alleged that the woman on the left was fellow Astronomer executive, Alyssa Stoddard.

However this has turned out not to be the case.

Here are the two profiles side by side.

Quite a few posts on X appear to make the assumption that the alleged Stoddard knew of the affair and had participated in covering it up.

The actual Stoddard is reportedly a key figure in Astronomer’s human resources team.

She was also nowhere near the Coldplay concert that day.

Despite the two, Stoddard and the lady beside Cabot, not looking all that similar, some X users are refusing to believe the company.

Investigations by the company into the conduct of its CEO and HR chief are ongoing.

CEO married, HR chief divorced

New York Post reported that Byron is married and Cabot is a divorcee.

Cabot filed for divorce in 2018 and the split was finalised in 2022.

She was just appointed to her position in November 2024, according to another New York Post piece.

“I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants,” she wrote on her LinkedIn.

“I have been energized in my conversations with Andy Byron and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here, including aiding our employees’ career development. I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy,” she added in a later post.

Byron also gushed over Cabot, singling out her “exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management”.

“She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer,” he said in a press release.

Byron's wife allegedly removed her last name from her social media account profile before her account was taken down.

New York Post added that former Astronomer employees responded with glee at seeing the couple get caught.
