Hit-&-run in Serangoon: Man, 60, who is visually impaired, found bleeding on road
The man had a Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) membership card on him.
A 60-year-old man was found bleeding and lying along Wolskel Road after a car allegedly hit him and left the scene.
The police said they were alerted to the hit-and-run accident involving a car and a pedestrian on May 15 at 8:50pm.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) conveyed the man to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.

A Mothership reader shared that the car in front of him ran over the man's walking stick, causing it to fly into his lane.
It was then that he noticed a man lying by the barrier at the junction of Upper Serangoon Road and Wolskel Road.
He stopped to assist the man, whom he described as "dazed" and bleeding from the head.
The reader also noticed a pool of blood on the road and said that cash from the man's pocket was scattered across the ground.
He added that the man was visually impaired and had a Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) membership card on him.
According to witnesses who spoke to the reader, the driver was making a turn when they hit the man and then drove off.
