Kim Lim's hair and scalp care brand, Papilla by Kim Lim, has opened its doors in London.

The brand was started in Singapore in 2019, and is part of Lim's beauty empire KLHealth. Other brands include illumia Skin, illumia Medical and illumia Therapeutics.

Papilla opened in Bangkok, Thailand last year.

Papilla's first store outside of Asia is located along Grosvenor Place, a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace.

She shared with Mothership, "The reason why I started Papilla by Kim Lim is simple — to have a lasting and effective solution to hair loss. Hair loss affects a person's appearance, along with their emotions. I hope that every woman, regardless of whatever chapter in her life she's in, can present the best side of herself to those around her."

Lim is also working with hair specialist Amy Meshkati for her new store. The latter previously worked with Lim to push out a range of hair care products which include NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide). It helps rejuvenate scalp cells, repair DNA and strengthen hair follicles.

This isn't the end of Lim's expansion plans — she shared that she's working with top international hair experts to develop a revolutionary treatment system.

She said, "There are a lot of exciting things happening for Papilla by Kim Lim, and I can't wait to share them with everyone."
