Man, 55, found dead in car along Upper Paya Lebar Road

A 55-year-old man was found lying motionless in a car along Upper Paya Lebar Road on Apr. 3 afternoon.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The aftermath of the incident was caught on camera by a Mothership reader.

According to the photos, the road was cordoned off by the police.

At least two police vehicles and three police officers were present at the scene.

The deceased was believed to have been found in a grey vehicle parked on the road.

It was covered in a white canvas.

Police statement

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore police confirmed that they received a call for assistance regarding the incident at around 3:45pm on Thursday.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.
