Man in China throws himself out of hotel glass window to avoid arguing with woman

A man in China apparently found the solution to end an argument with a woman.

He threw himself out of a glass window, breaking it in the process, and then ran away.

Surveillance footage of his antics has made the rounds internationally.

Seen arguing at first

According to a Weibo post published by the Guizhou radio and television channel, the incident occurred at around 1am on Apr. 16.

The couple were on the first floor of a hotel in Yuhua district, Changsha in Hunan province.

Surveillance footage showed the couple standing by the window exchanging words indoors.

The man suddenly dropped his backpack and threw himself into the window.

He bounced off the glass unscathed.

Tried a second time

The woman tried to stop him from trying again, but failed.

The man ran towards the window and threw himself through it, breaking it in the process.

He fell out of the window.

Ran away

The next scene showed what happened outside the building after the man broke the window with his body.

He was seen rolling on the ground, attempting to pick up footwear that had fallen off, before running away.

According to the Guizhou radio and television channel, a hotel employee said that as the couple had compensated for the damage, the hotel did not call the police.
