SM Teo Chee Hean & Faishal Ibrahim attend PAP rally at Punggol
They spoke alongside the PAP slate for Punggol GRC.
Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean and Minister of State at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of National Development Faishal Ibrahim made an appearance at the People's Action Party (PAP) rally for Punggol GRC on Apr. 26 evening.
Teo is not an unfamiliar face to the GRC, as he had served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC for six terms before his ward, Pasir Ris, became a part of the newly-formed Pasir Ris-Changi GRC.
On Apr. 23, Teo announced that he would be retiring after 30 years in politics.
At the rally, which was held at Yusof Ishak Secondary School, Teo and Faishal spoke alongside the PAP slate for Punggol GRC, namely Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, Janil Puthucheary, Sun Xueling, and Yeo Wan Ling.

Some girls who carried neon signs in support of Sun told Mothership that they want to support Sun "in the little ways that they can", as they are 18 years old and not yet eligible to vote in the 2025 General Elections.
As residents of Punggol West SMC, where Sun had represented in Parliament for three terms, the girls spoke highly of Sun:
"She came to our house for house visits every two, three months, and she gave us some goodie bags. We are super excited to see her as well. We think she is an interesting, competent MP who takes care of our needs."
