All S’porean households to get S$500 in CDC vouchers from May 13, to be used in 2025

All Singaporean households will get S$500 in CDC vouchers from May 13.

S$250 of the vouchers can be used at participating hawker stalls and heartland merchants, while the remaining S$250 in supermarkets.

They will be valid till Dec. 31, 2025, a joint release on Apr. 15 by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Community Development Councils (CDCs) said.

This will be the seventh tranche of the vouchers.

The disbursement of vouchers was continued after they were first introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic to help Singaporeans and support businesses.

They are now issued to address cost of living concerns and help alleviate daily expenses.

The sixth tranche of S$300 in vouchers was just issued in January 2025 and are valid for the year as well.

The latest tranche of vouchers was announced by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong during February's Budget 2025.

It was also announced that another S$300 in CDC vouchers will be issued in January 2026.
