Ex-Fox News host who said 'the Malays don't have money' now says they 'are barely eating' & can't afford takeout food

Former Fox News Host, Bill O’Reilly, had earlier mocked Malaysia for “not having any money”.

This was in response to Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Malaysia.

This remark caused quite a backlash, with even Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim weighing in.

Anwar had called O'Reilly arrogant and ignorant.

O'Reilly has now responded.

In the video, he reads out Anwar's statement before doubling down on his original claims that Malaysians had no money.

Saying this lack of spending power would prevent them from buying "small hats" or takeout food. Insisting they are barely eating.

He then said Malaysia was a beautiful, but complicated, country.

O'Reilly ended off by saying former U.S. President Barack Obama was partially raised there. Seemingly mistaking Malaysia for Indonesia.
