Russian man, 44, injured after fighting 3 men allegedly trying to rape 2 women in Phuket
Three men of German and Turkish nationalities have been arrested.

A 44-year-old male Russian tourist in Phuket, Thailand was taken to the hospital after reportedly fending off three men who had allegedly attempted to rape two women on Mar. 8.
Aleksandr Belinskii had passed by the women's hotel room when he heard a commotion and jumped in to help, reported The Nation.
Three men had barged into hotel room
According to The Nation, the two Finnish women said they were in their hotel when three men allegedly barged into the room and tried to rape them.
Belinskii, who was passing by the room, got into a scuffle with the men to try and fend them off.
He suffered injuries to his face. He was later taken to Patong Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The men managed to escape and leave the premises.
Men arrested, claimed they only wanted to send women back
The Nation reported on Mar. 9 that the three men were later arrested and taken to Patong Police Station for investigations.
According to Khaosod, the men have been taken to Patong Police Station on charges of causing bodily harm to another person.
They had stayed in another hotel nearby and claimed that they only wanted to send the women back after spending time together at an entertainment venue.
Two of them were identified as Germany nationals aged 22 and 30, while another was a 23-year-old Turkish national.
According to the police, the men said that Belinskii had claimed to be one of the women's boyfriend before the fight ensued.
