The new Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Services Centre at 2 Crawford Street will begin operations on Apr. 7, 2025.

ICA also announced that the current ICA building, located next to the new Services Centre, will be permanently closed to members of the public from Apr. 1.

The new Services Centre will operate Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm.

Transition period

Counter services at the current ICA building will be suspended between Apr. 1 and 4, and no walk-ins will be served during this period.

This is to ensure a smooth transition of services to the new Services Centre.

Customers with urgent requests must produce supporting documents, which will be assessed and served on a case-by-case basis.

Urgent counter services that may be provided from Apr. 1 to Apr. 4 are:

  • Passport for urgent travel
  • Oath-taking for minors turning 22 years old between Apr. 1 and Apr. 6, 2025
  • Completion of formalities for immigration passes expiring between Apr. 1 and Apr. 6, 2025.

During the transition period, ICA's services will remain available online, and the public can submit their applications through ICA's website or the MyICA mobile app.

Getting there

From Apr. 7, the public who need to transact in person with ICA are strongly encouraged to take public transport to the new Services Centre.

Public parking will not be available at the Services Centre due to ongoing works at ICA's carpark.

Those driving may park their vehicles at alternative public carparks along North Bridge Road, Crawford Lane and French Road.

Passengers can also alight at the drop-off point at the Services Centre's entrance.
